Yesterday, the stars put their L's in the air during a celebration of the life of Chris Lighty.
While toasting to one of the greatest in the biz, Q-Tip moved the Manhattan crowd, while Busta Rhymes tried to lighten the mood. It was a sad day, but the biggest names in the game managed to celebrate the life of one of the greatest managers in the history of hip-hop.
Funeral-goers received a message that read:
"Right now I'm in a better place, and though we seem apart, I'm closer than I ever was..."
Russell Simmons, Nick Cannon, 50 Cent, Diddy and many more were in attendance to commemorate Chris.
Last week, Lighty was found dead behind his home from an apparent suicide. Since then, many epic names in hip-hop have spoken out about their sadness. Chris will truly be missed.
