The news is somewhat shocking considering that Clive Davis had been paying Whitney’s bills, before she died in the Beverly Hilton Hotel last weekend.

The music mogul got a lot of criticism from Chaka Khan and Houston’s family when he went forward with his party plans at the Beverly Hilton Hotel while Whitney’s body was still upstairs.
Now a source is speaking out saying Clive Davis won’t be digging into his pockets to cover the bill for Whitney’s funeral.
“Yes, Clive was paying the majority of Whitney’s bills before she died. He was even paying for her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel; she was out of money. She didn’t have anything left,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Clive won’t be paying for any part of Whitney’s funeral though. Whitney’s family will be responsible for all the costs.”
