Kerry posted on Instagram:

“Yup. #DjangoUnchained screening. Me, @rickrozay @iamjamiefoxx @SamuelLJackson @UnchainedMovie DECEMBER 25th!!!!!”

Unfortunately, the official Hollywood premiere of the film was canceled after a violent shooting in Newtown Connecticut at Sandy Hook Elementary School killed 26 people. The film, which features escaped slave Jamie Foxx’s journey to save his wife from an evil plantation owner, was deemed too violent for the current fragile state of our nation.

But that doesn’t mean the stars will hide out – this film is something to be proud of! Django Unchained hits theaters on Christmas Day.
