Seriously, we can’t write this stuff. After Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison, 51, shocked everyone with his controversial marriage to 16-year-old Courtney Stodden back in June, the public still hasn’t gotten comfortable with the 35 year age gap. So as a caring mother, Krista Stodden, Courtney’s mom, felt it was only right to step in.
Krista told Radar Online,
‘He’s not creepy, he is such a great guy, he’s so intelligent.’

She continued, ‘I see why they’re together, he looks like he’s in his early 30s, and Courtney looks like she’s in her late 20s, it’s like they’re talking about someone else when they say bad things about Doug. He’s with my daughter and I wouldn’t want a creepy guy with my daughter. He’s a wonderful, great man.’
