As we previously reported, congratulations are in order for Drizzy Drake!
The Canadian rapper and singer has been going back to school for the past few months, and he now possesses a high school diploma!
DETAILS: CONGRATS! Drake Graduates High School
The "Marvin's Room" rapper tweeted with excitement:
"97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school! Thank you to my teacher Kim Janzen for spending the last 5 months working tirelessly with me!!”
We honestly are not that surprised that Drake is really smart! He raps intellectually-stimulating thoughts all the time... we're just surprised he took the time to get it done when he's been so successful without a degree.

Though it's not that crazy to us that Drake is into his education, there are a few hip-hop heads, as well as all around entertainers, that shocked the world when they told everyone they have a high school or college diploma.
Congrats again to Drake and check out the list of celebrities who surprised us with their interest in education below.

First up is the infamous Pliiiiies baby!
Rumor has it that Plies dumbs himself down when entertaining, and his rapper voice is supposedly completely different than his everyday voice.
Though he never graduated, he attended Miami U. for two years and then transferred to the U. of Central Florida!
Before becoming known for his hit song "Bust It Baby," Plies pursued a degree in nursing.

Most don't just go around assuming pornographic actors like Ron Jeremy come from a long line of education. Well, Ron is a proud owner of a B.A. in Education and Theatre, and a Master's in Special Education.

Rapper Flava Flav graduated from Adelphi University, where he met the legendary Chuck D!

Before he became known as Paul Wall, the grilled out rapper spent much of his time in school. He attended the University of Houston for three years, where he studied mass communication. || Photo Credit: WENN

Let's face it... Lil' Wayne doesn't always come off as the most educated cat in the alley. Though he dropped out of school at 14, he later got his GED and tried his hand at college.

2 Chainz is one of our favorite new rappers, but between wanting big booty hoes for his birthday and many of his other extremely explicit lyrics, it's surprising that he spent so much time in school.
Though he didn't graduate, he attended Alabama State where he played basketball for a year before transferring to Virginia State University. || Photo Credit: Getty

The popular James Franco doesn't come off as the kind of guy who has multiple degrees. That's especially because he's so great at playing stoner characters in movies like Pineapple Express.
He has his B.A. in Creative Writing, an MFA from Columbia University, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D in English at Yale!

No, he didn't attend college, but he did graduate from high school and that's something many of today's rappers couldn't do!
Though he was arrested for drugs shortly after graduating from Long Beach Polytechnic high school, Snoop at least made it through. || Photo Credit: Getty

Rowan Atkinson is definitely not known for playing characters that are very smart.
Infamous for portraying his own funny creation Mr. Bean and the spoof spy Johnny English, apparently these less-than-intelligent roles have nothing to do with him as a person!
He graduated from Newcastle University, and then went on to complete his Master's in electrical engineering at Oxford U.
