Dr. Alon Steinberg, one of the leading heart doctors for the California Medical Board, told the jury that if it wasn't for 6 extreme deviations from the standard of care "Mr. Jackson would still be alive."

The expert who was called to the stand by the defense broke down all 6 lapses in judgement, citing one that Propofol was not medically indicated, and he never heard of a doctor using the powerful drug to treat insomnia.
Dr. Steinberg also goes to point out that giving Propofol unmonitored without proper medical equipment, proper personel or attending physician is not in line with the standard of care.

Along with several other bad decisions made by Dr. Conrad Murphy, who is facing manslaughter charges in the case of Michael Jackson's death, Dr. Steinberg told the jury, "It's basically knowledge that when someone is down you need to call 911 for help."
But the biggest news was when he straight out said:
"If these deviations would not have happened Mr. Jackson would still be alive."
Sad news indeed. What do you think of the trial so far?
