Guilford Courthouse National Military Park:

This historic site will most likely appeal to history buffs. It commemorates the battle of Guilford Courthouse, one of the most important in North Carolina's history as pertaining to the Revolutionary War. The site features a bucolic 2.5 miles tour of the battlegrounds, which have markers at the most important spots. How a visitor gets around the trail is up to them - feel free to walk, bike or even drive.
