Freebie Fridays - Things To Do Around Maryland For No Money At All

Posted August 24, 2012 by Jason Brooks for Global Grind Staff

Welcome to the weekend! Today is Friday and thankfully, for most of us, today will be the last time that you even have to think about the office for the next 48 hours. The icing on the cake is that even though many of us got paid today, we have a bunch of things that you can do today that won't cost you a dime. If you happen to be in the great state of Maryland, today's installment of Dollars & Sense is just for you. Enjoy!

Visit The Walters Art Museum

This spectacular museum houses more than 25,000 pieces of art and is home to numerous activities and cultural events. General admission to Walters Art Museum is free except for special exhibits. Adults and kids alike enjoy the displays and exhibits at this museum. Children especially love the displays of unique furniture, unusual statues, knights' armor and Faberge eggs. The best part is that it's all free of charge.
