Freebie Fridays - Things To Do Around Québec For No Money At All

Posted November 9, 2012 by Jason Brooks for Global Grind Staff

It's Friday again and thankfully you made it through to the end of the week. Hopefully you didn't get any grey hairs in the process, but we have got some great things for you to do today to make it all a bit cooler. If you happen to be in the city of Québec or plan on visiting Canada anytime soon, then this installment of Dollars & Sense is just for you. The best part of it all is that it won't cost you anything. Check it out below!

Visit Les Chemins Invisibles Circus

Québec's most famous export, Cirque du Soleil, performs at the provincial capital. With adult tickets selling for as little as $55 CND, the price is good. Free, of course, is even better—and that's what you will pay to see Cirque's other local production: Les Chemins Invisibles. Part street theater, part staged event, "The Invisible Paths" is a free outdoor extravaganza featuring 100-odd circus performers. The 70-minute show, which plays in the Saint-Roch district exclusively, starts at 8:30pm.
