Is America's sweetheart Gabby Douglas stuck in the middle of a battle between her own parents?

The National Enquirer continues to paint a troubling story for Gabby and her family. The Pulitzer Prize-nominated publication claims to have information from an inside source that the relationship between Gabby's parents is getting out of control and it's all over Gabby's future financial earnings. 

DETAILS: Is Gabby's Dad A Deadbeat?

The source claims:

“Both sides of Gabby’s family are jockeying to be in good standing with the goose that laid the golden egg,” a close source said. “Meanwhile, poor Gabby is caught in the middle.”

There have been conflicting reports about Gabby's dad, US Army vet Timothy Douglas. He did go to London to see his daughter's historic performance at the Olympics, but wasn't given a ticket and ended up watching the whole thing on TV monitors. 

Gabby’s paternal grandmother May Douglas added: “We don’t know how many tickets were given, and how they were given, we only know they were not given to us.”

Another source said: “Timothy and his family suspect Natalie had everything to do with them not being able to gain access to Gabby’s competitions, and they’re furious about being cut out!”
