Posted November 3, 2010 by User Contribution for Global Grind Staff

After five years of silence, George Bush finally responded to Kanye West's controversial comment about him not caring about Black people during a benefit concert for Hurricane Katrina.

In an interview with Matt Lauer, Bush spoke about this moment being one of the most disgusting moments in his presidency and also mentions that he didn't appreciate Kanye calling him a racist. Bush states the following down below:

“It was one of the most disgusting moments in my Presidency. He called me a racist. I didn’t appreciate it then. I don’t appreciate it now. It’s one thing to say, ‘I don’t appreciate the way he’s handled his business.’ It’s another thing to say, ‘This man’s a racist.’ I resent it, it’s not true.”
