Yes, Drake is right. Girls do love Beyonce and just about everything she does.
Early this morning, Drake released a song called “Girls Love Beyonce” and we would have to agree. Her fans call her Beysus for Christ’s sake! But it got us thinking – as much as the girls love Beyonce, we doubt the feeling is mutual for the guys.

Let’s just say that although guys can appreciate the majority of Bey’s music, chances are some of her hit singles have hit a little too close to home.
Because of Beyonce, guys were given the ultimatum of “putting a ring on it,” or possibly having to pick up “everything you own in a box to the left.”
Sure, the girls love Beyonce, but there have been quite a few instances that have made the guys less than happy with her.
If you can’t recall why guys might not be as fond of King Bey, let’s help jog your memory.
Single Ladies
Let’s start with the most blaring betrayal of the male species: “Single Ladies,” aka The Marriage Ultimatum song. Beyonce made it OK for women to openly say that they just might leave you if you don’t propose marriage to them. Sure, this is good if you’ve made it to that point in your relationship, but if not, this song single-handedly ended a few relationships that were otherwise going well.
Bills, Bills, Bills
But the relationship slander didn’t start there. Early in Beyonce’s career, she pushed women to leave their man if they couldn’t pay her bills! “Bills, Bills, Bills” was not for the working man. If you can’t pay your bills and her bills, Beyonce and her Destiny’s Child affiliates might have been your worst enemy when this song was released.
Irreplaceable
Irreplaceable had women across the world chanting “to the left, to the left” and feeling like their boyfriends were very replaceable – whether they could pay their bills or not. We can bet a few of those women are still single and a few of those “replaceable” guys got dumped for no reason!
Upgrade You
Assuming you had the privilege of NOT being dumped, Beyonce made women think that their men needed to be upgraded!
“Upgrade You” may have been a good way to motivate your man, but for many men, they now had a girlfriend who thought they were fat, poor slobs.
Say My Name
If you happened to be able to get off the couch, Beyonce made it so that you couldn’t go out with any friends – especially female ones. Why? Because if you did, you would have to make sure that you said her name out loud whenever she called. We don’t know about you, but once you see someone’s name on the caller ID, saying their name after you say “hello” seems sufficient.
Diva
After she had your girlfriends feeling insecure about not saying their name, Beyonce made them think that they were a diva ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OF THE TIME! A diva who also needed a boss to be happy, but guess what? Immediately after this, she didn’t need a boss anymore – because who ran the world….
Run The World (Girls)
…That’s right! Girls.
Girls ran the world and so did Beyonce, so why does she need your broke, cheating, unrefined ass? Probably to drive her to the Super Bowl!
In 2013, Beyonce RUINED the Super Bowl for thousands of guys! Why? Because while you thought you were going to have a night just chillin’ with the fellas, Beyonce had your girlfriends tag along for the halftime show and ONLY for the halftime show, which leaves her sufficient time to annoy you for the rest of the game with ridiculous questions and Beyonce’s performance that she talked about for the next two days.
The word is also still out on whether or not Beyonce caused the blackout during Beyonce Super Bowl XLVII, but if guys had ONE person to blame….they’re going to go with Beyonce!
C’mon Beyonce, give the guys a break! Drake knows that the girls love you, we just don’t know if the fellas find it as easy.
