When it comes to divorce, neither wife nor husband is exempt from the law.

Halle Berry was just ordered to pay ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry a whopping $20,000 a month for their daughter Nahla Aubry by a family court judge. Luckily for the Monster's Ball actress, the very public and nasty battle over custody of their daughter looks like it's almost at an end.

Both parents were awarded joint custody, and now the only issue is whether or not Berry will be able to take their daughter and move to Paris with her current boyfriend, Olivier Martinez. Berry, who has also been struggling with keeping her daughter safe from paparazzi and strangers, knows the laws are much more strict in France regarding media involvement.

Soon it will all be over and Halle will be $20K a month lighter in her purse. Though it is rare that women be required to pay their exes alimony or child support, more and more women are the bread winners of their families, causing this phenomenon to happen a lot more frequently than you may have thought.
