Heavy D died at the age of 44 today.

Heavy D was pronounced dead at an Los Angeles hospital this afternoon. He was most widely known for his role in the hip-hop group Heavy D & The Boys, which included G-Whiz, "Trouble" T. Roy, and Eddie F.
