Jay-Z and Beyonce could easily be our models for a happy relationship.
They dated for more than 5 years before they got married, had a child together, and still seem extremely happy whenever they are around one another.

Almost weekly we cover them on different romantic dates. We melt from their public displays of affection sitting courtside while watching the Knicks or Nets. We yearn for a love like theirs as they throw up the Roc sign at the US Open, advantage Jigga. We even wonder what they’ve eaten as they walk out of fancy restaurants like Nobu, The Darby and Red Farm in New York City.

We’re waiting for this summer when all our female friends come back from vacation with a picture of themselves on a jet ski holding their ponytail straight up in the air like Beyonce on St. Barts.
They can even keep it simple. Cue low-key nights at SOB’s watching The-Dream perform, or sneaking into Skylight Studios to watch Rita Ora introduce herself to America.
So we’ve decided to break down their dates and show you, yes you, how to date just like Beyonce and Jay-Z without spending the major bread.
Nobu – This is one of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s favorite spots. They serve Japanese cuisine where a King Crab Tempura can set you back $45 bucks for one person. If your date wants lobster tail that’s another $45 bucks. But if you go during the day, they have a $28 lunch special that’s right for anyone’s pockets!
The Darby – The Darby is another fancy NYC spot where you can eat caviar and oysters from the half shell, but if you want lobster tail here, prepare to shell out a whopping $75 dollars a dish. If you go for a drink and appetizers before heading somewhere else, you’ll get the same experience and save major money.
Attend A Costume Party – Beyonce dressed up like a bumblebee for Kanye’s party at the Darby, but it doesn’t have to be Halloween for you to attend or throw your very own dress up bash. Go to Party City, pick out a costume and have some fun!
Watch TV While Eating Pizza – Almost every pizzeria in the city has a television set, so why not keep it casual and go watch your favorite show and grab a slice? If it’s good enough for Jay-Z and Beyonce, it’s good enough for your boo.
Beaches and Jet Ski – Jay-Z and Beyonce just got back from St. Barts. While we know everyone can’t jet set like they can, there is nothing stopping you from enjoying the beaches here in America. Great part about them is that a bunch have jet skis available for rent for a few dollars!
Tennis – Our favorite couple also likes to check out sporting events like tennis. The US Open is fun, but catching a tennis match anywhere, pro or collegiate, can be extremely entertaining.
Basketball – There is a major basketball team in almost every city and even if you’re not courtside, it’s a great way to release some tension and have fun on a date. You can yell, drink, go crazy and no one cares.
Concerts – Jay-Z and Bey kept it casual at SOBs and last night at Skylight Studios. Venues like SOBs get all the best acts right when they are about to blow up. Nothing says ‘I love you’ like being a part of history.
Red Farm – After the game you get hungry and one of the places Bey and Jay like to dine at is the lovely Chinese themed Red Farm, where for $39 you can taste Grilled Marinated Creekstone Rib Steak, sounds yummy.
Rent A Yacht – A 43 foot yacht for 12 people costs about $2,600 bucks. While that might be a lot, when you split the cost with a group of friends, its super affordable and you too can pop bottles with models on a yacht in the middle of the ocean. Now that’s swag.
