This morning, New York got to witness history as the Space Shuttle Enterprise flew over the Big Apple.
The Enterprise zoomed around the city on the back of a modified jumbo jet. The shuttle flew over New York City's numerous landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty and the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum on Manhattan’s west side, before NASA declared, “Touchdown at JFK!”
Many people gathered on building rooftops and snapped pictures and almost instantly gave everyone else across the world a chance to see it for themselves on Instagram.
So we gathered some of the best pictures from users like you, and showed that we have pretty nifty camera skills with our smartphones. Check it out!
