A year later, Hurricane Sandy ripped through New York City, Barack Obama got re-elected, America raised taxes on the rich, and Kim Kardashian was still married.
If you would have told me that Tupac could perform at Coachella before Kim Kardashian's divorce was finalized, I would have called you every name for crazy in the book. But, it happened.
Reading the news this morning and hearing that it's highly likely Kim will still be married to Kris Humphries when she gives birth to Kanye's baby made me feel bad for her. Granted she has millions of dollars, is super successful, and could buy my happiness from me and still have a small fortune left over, but my heart still felt compassion.
No one should be held hostage by a failed marriage. There has to be a time when you must let go. Hate her or love her, Kim is getting a raw deal. Kris might honestly believe his marriage to Kim was a fraud. She might honestly believe that the marriage was the real thing - but at the end of the day, does it really matter?
Kris is balling right now. His Nets just beat the defending champions and he signed a $50 plus million contract with Kanye's best friend's basketball team. He's winning.
But he has this petty conviction to prove Kim was wrong. To prove that his marriage was fake.
For the sake of argument, let's say it was. Then Kris is either just as guilty as Kim ... or dumb. If it was a fake, he's guilty of leading on America just as much as she did, or he's just stupid to fall in love with a woman who, as he would like us to believe, never loved him in the first place. I don't know about y'all, but I've seen Kim's acting. She's pretty good, but she's not that good. (No offense, because I'm dying to see Kim in that Tyler Perry flick). It's hard to make someone fall in love with you, let alone fall in love with you by pretending.
It's time for Kris to give up his quest to embarrass Kim. Exposing her will only make her more famous! Knowing the secrets of how she works isn't going to change anything. People have already made up their mind about Kim Kardashian. Millions follow her because they love her, and millions follow her because they hate her. Nothing will change their minds.
Kris, give it up, or Ye will really have Jay drop you from the team.
