Congratulations are in order for Janet, as she reveals she's officially a married girl once more.

The superstar kept an extremely low profile for a long time, but she finally spilled the beans, telling Entertainment Tonight she and Wissam Al Mana were married in 2012.

A joint statement released by the couple reads:

"The rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony. Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children's charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy. With love, Wissam and Janet."

We're not sure why they let the cat out of the bag. After all, a "big wedding" rumor isn't the kind of gossip that would usually present an issue for a couple and make them speak up. Either way, we are happy they did!

As most know, Janet has been married twice before to James DeBarge in 1984 and Rene Elizonda Jr. in 1991.
