Jay-Z took a break from being a daddy and spent a night off with friends to watch his team the New Jersey Nets take on the Los Angeles Clippers. 

PHOTOS: Jay-Z Plans A Surprise Show At SXSW

Hova spent the night laughing it up with his boys, including Atlantic Records exec Mike Kyser. The bosses joked around and shot the sh*t and when one rep tried to give Jay Z a VIP badge to go backstage, he quickly handed it to his friend.

Several players came over to greet Jay-Z, including Chris Paul from the Los Angeles Clippers.
