Jennifer Hudson is in full actress mode! The proud mother was spotted with her son David Otunga Jr. on the set of Smash alongside the original Dreamgirl Sheryl Lee Ralph, and stars Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty.

Little David looked on as mommy did her thing for her guest appearance on the smash, pun intended, NBC show. Jennifer has been quite busy giving back lately. She recently handed out school supplies to over 5,000 low income students from kindergarten to 12th grade in honor of her slain nephew for the second annual Julian King Hatch Day.

"That's the overwhelming part. Like, wow, to see how it's snowballing. And this is only the second year. That's our dream, to see it grow and grow and grow and grow, because the more it grows the more people we can help," said Hudson.

It's good to see her giving back and helping out, making sure her nephew's legacy will live forever.
