New Jersey Continues To Hate On "Jersey Shore" (DETAILS)

The state of New Jersey continues to hate on Jersey Shore as the city of Hoboken puts the breaks on a spinoff featuring J-Woww and Snooki.

Hoboken's mayor Dawn Zimmer posted a letter on the city's website stating that she will not be allowing the filming of Snooki and J-Woww's spinoff in her town.

"Based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents, the City has denied a film permit for a spin-off of the Jersey Shore to be filmed in public locations. Please see the attached letters which explain the reasons for this decision. The applicant has been advised that they do have a right to appeal the Film Commission’s decision to the City Council."

This comes after NJ Governor Chris Christie blocked a half a million-dollar tax credit for the producers of Jersey Shore saying the show, "does nothing more than perpetuate misconceptions about the state and its citizens.”
