Mariah Yeater has some shocking news for Justin: it's back on!
After widespread reports that the paternity suit against Justin Bieber has been dropped, Radar Online is reporting that it ain't over yet. Mariah is reportedly involved in private negotiations with Bieber's legal team.
Earlier this month, 20-year-old Mariah slapped the 17-year-old heartthrob with a paternity lawsuit, claiming he was the father of her 4-month-old baby after a post-Bieber concert bathroom tryst.
“I did not step down and there is a legal team. It’s a new legal team. In light of death threats against my client, strategies have been reviewed...the San Diego team has been replaced by John Carlson from Los Angeles,” says Jeffrey Leving, a Chicago paternity attorney who took on Yeater as a client.
“She believes Justin Bieber is the father. Right now there’s no more interviews for Mariah Yeater, I’m not going to allow that. Secondly, negotiations are going on right now with Bieber’s council and we’re trying to negotiate a private, secure DNA test with the same safe guards that would exist if there were a court order, but without a court order.
“The case is completely out of control and I don’t want something terrible to happen to my client or her child.”
“My goal is that when the DNA test is completed, which I believe it will be...my goal is to keep everything confidential so the results will remain confidential,” he said.
We're shocked that the results of the paternity test may remain confidential. But, it's probably the best considering how crazy Justin Bieber's fans can get!
Mariah won't go quietly, so we'll have to await the next twist and turn in this saga.
