Jay-Z owns the Brooklyn Nets, but could another musical J be joining him as an NBA owner?
According to reports, Justin Timberlake is set to join a group of investors to purchase the Memphis Grizzles.
Hey, JT, we see you jocking Jay-Z!
According to Commercial Appeal:
Timberlake, 31, who grew up near Millington, has agreed to become a limited partner in Robert Pera's bid to purchase the Memphis Grizzlies from Michael Heisley, a source close to Pera confirmed Thursday night.
Pera and his investors have agreed to pay $350 million dollars to acquire the NBA basketball team and they plan to keep them right in Memphis.
Justin grew up in Tennessee, and could be the face of the organization, much like Jay-Z is considered the face of the Brooklyn Nets, despite owning just a small portion of the team.
Is this a good look for Justin?
