Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri Cruise were leaving a gymnastics class at Chelsea Piers in New York City last night, when a garbage truck sideswiped the Benz they were riding in!

Thankfully, Katie and little Suri are doing alright and police said that no injuries were reported in the incident. 

The incident occurred at about 9:30 pm ET between 7th and 8th Avenues on West 33rd Street.

A source told The New York Daily News: 

"It was nothing major other than the fact it was Katie Holmes."

This must have been a minor scare for the 33-year-old mother, who filed for divorce just three weeks ago and has already settled with ex Tom Cruise. Katie has been spotted with Suri all over the city, ever the doting mom.
