After news broke that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are officially a couple, people have been curious as to how they got together. 

As it turns out, the person taking credit for setting up these two superstars is none other than Kimmy’s BFF Jonathan Cheban.

According to the NY Daily News, a source close to Jonathan is saying that he claims to be responsible for encouraging Kim to go after Kanye after his new song “Way Too Cold," which used to be called “Theraflu,” hit the airwaves. 

It doesn’t seem surprising that Jonathan would get our girl Kim to start dating Kanye, considering he’s admitted to never liking her soon to be ex-husband Kris Humphries. And in "Way Too Cold," 'Ye raps about how he was in love with Kim ... why NOT go for it?
