On Monday, Kim Kardashian took to Live! With Kelly and finally responded to critics who have repeatedly insisted her marriage to New Jersey Nets star Kris Humphries was a business deal.

Kim wisecracked Monday morning as she played co-host to Kelly Ripa: 

"If you really think about it, if [the marriage] was a business decision, and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV … I'm a smart business woman. I would have stayed married longer."

She went on to sarcastically gesture:

"This was a bad business decision. If you really think about it, it doesn't make sense."

When Kim, 31, filed for divorce after 72 days, she claims she retreated to her mother's house with two pairs of sweatpants and some pajamas. Since filing, she's been to and fro from her mother's and sister Kourtney's house.

Proclaiming she's had to do some serious soul-searching, the reality TV fashionista said, "I just had to be with the family."

The hopeless romantic was really taken aback by how following her heart caused such regressive action.
