We Are Family: Lady Gaga & Madonna Are Cousins And Other Celebs Who Have Famous Family (PHOTOS)

Lady Gaga and Madonna have always been paired as pop rivals. Lady Gaga has been accused of copying Madonna's style and jacking her swag, but Lady Gaga denies such accusations. All that pop rival beef should now end, because Madonna and Gaga are cousins.

According to celebrity geneologist, Chris Child, Lady Gaga and Madonna are actually 9th cousins. The two pop queens had common ancestors who were a farming couple that moved from France to Quebec in the 1600s. "When I saw that Lady Gaga had French Canadian ancestry, I thought there might be something there," he said.

Lady Gaga has compared herself to Madonna in the past.  "We're both Italian-American women, we both started out in the New York underground scene - and we both became famous when we dyed our hair blonde," she said. Now that they're cousins, that's one more similarity to add to the list.
