Lamar Odom is stunned!
Last night, the Lakers traded Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol to the New Orleans Hornets for Chris Paul.
The trade would have forced Lamar Odom to move to New Orleans, and his wife Khloe Kardashian was down to ride or die for her man.
She tweeted, "I can survive anywhere... People are acting cray! LOL New Orleans is a great place. As long as I'm with Lam I'm good #bible"
Khloe was ready to pack up and leave for her man, but at the last minute the NBA blocked the trade, sending Lamar Odom back to the team that traded him without so much as a phone call.
Lamar tweeted: "Wow! Talk 2 me people. I couldn't even get the phone call."
Then an hour later after finding out the deal was blocked he said, "When a team trades u and it doesn't go down? Now what?"
The NBA Sixth Man Of The Year was in total disbelief when he spoke with the LA Times.
“I guess that means I’m a Laker if the trade didn’t go through,” a somber Odom said in a phone interview with The Times. “I don’t know what to do for the Lakers. I’m even weirded out by the league doing what they did. I don’t know what to do.”
He goes on to say he'll pray about it, but he made it clear he no longer wants to be an LA Laker.
"You don’t want to go to no place you’re not wanted. I’ll try to give them what they want as much as possible.”
Odom also felt bad for Gasol.
“Imagine how Pau feels,” Odom said. “Pau came to the Lakers and played here for four years, went to the Finals and lost, won two NBA championships and then got swept [by the Dallas Mavericks this year]. Wow! Imagine how he must feel.
“Man, I’m just in total disbelief about all of this,” Odom continued. “They don’t want my services, for whatever reason. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do."
We'll have to see what happens when training camp opens up later today...
