Dez Bryant, wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, was detained on Sunday after getting into a fight with a "famous rapper," said to be none other than Lil Wayne.

The fight happened inside the Fontainebleau's club LIV and all began over someone mocking the footballer about a subpar season and a mounting personal debt crisis.

The Herald's Miami Beach reporter David Smiley tweeted that a MBPD source told him Lil Wayne and his entourage were the "famous rapper" involved in the altercation with Bryant.

The Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami has been the hot spot for many celebs and their blinged out bashes, and we all know it can get a little crazy in the club for time to time - especially when the liquor is flowing.

We hope Wayne wasn't involved. It definitely wouldn't be good look for the rapper to be getting into any trouble.
