Here we go again. Lindsay Lohan might be headed back to the slammer after lying to officers from the Santa Monica Police Department on Friday, says a TMZ informant.

Lindsay Lohan Involved In Serious Car Accident! 

While being checked out at the hospital, LiLo claimed she was not the driver of the Porsche that collided into a truck last Friday. Lindsay’s assistant later revealed to authorities that she was, in fact, behind the wheel.

This incident is going to be double trouble for Lohan. Not only is it illegal to lie to a police officer, but because she is still on probation for her shoplifting incident last year, the Liz & Dick actress may face even more trouble.

Several eyewitnesses have reported that Lohan and her assistant both left the Porsche from the passenger’s side. This can only spell more struggle for the misfit star.

Lindsay suffered some bumps and scratches but she still showed up to the Liz & Dick set in order to portray the iconic Elizabeth Taylor. Linds is pretty serious about this role, but she's going to have to stay out of trouble if she really wants to make her long-awaited comeback.
