With a movie in theaters, Katy Perry has had a lot on her plate the last couple months but one thing that surely isn’t, is a boyfriend.
In an interview with USA Today the singer says a boyfriend is the last thing on her mind, she actually thinks it’s very inappropriate and she’s just not ready.

The “Fireworks” singer says:
“For me, right now, I’m totally not looking,”
Ri Ri’s bestie says she still not completely recovered from her split with Russell Brand. She says:
“I’m just looking to heal. And I’m on that path. I’m not down on love.”
When asked about her recent rendezvous with Florence and The Machine guitarist, Robert Ackroyd she dismisses it as an official relationship. She says:
“That’s not even appropriate to label. There are times I go out and meet people and flirt, but it’s not really appropriate to have anything serious.”

The pop singer proclaims she’s older and wiser:
“My fairy-tale has absolutely changed,” she says. “I don’t need the Prince Charming to have my own happy ending. I can make the happy ending myself.”
Sometimes being single and focused is just what a girl needs, especially a big star like Katy.
