When in doubt, use spell check...or Google it!
In the trailer for Baz Luhrmann's new movie The Great Gatsby, which features Kanye West and Jay-Z's No Church In The Wild, there's a quick shot of a pretty heroic spelling error.
During the 1:42 mark, there's a flash of New York's very own Times Square in the 1900's with a brightly lit Billboard that displays "Zeigfeld Follies." The only problem is, it's spelled wrong!
The variety show that ran on Broadway from 1907 to 1931 is correctly spelled "Ziegfeld Follies."
Although it's a minor mistake, some people dished their feelings on twitter, tweeting:
"A budget of $127,000,000 and it seems no one was paid to check the spelling of "Ziegfeld Follies" in the Great Gatsby trailer. #whoopsadaisy"
