If you know anything about Mike Tyson, you know that he doesn’t hold his tongue for anyone. During his 20-year career as a professional boxer, Tyson was known for supplying some of the most epic sound bites in sports.

Robin Thicke Speaks On Trayvon Martin

Now, years after he retired from boxing, he’s still not holding his tongue. Mike Tyson is getting ready to première his one-man show, Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth – Live on Stage, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas next week.

Even though he’s busy prepping his latest venture, Mike still found time to chat with GlobalGrind. During our talk, we chopped it up about a lot of subjects, with one of the more interesting topics being the tragic killing of Florida-teen Trayvon Martin back in February. Like most people who have been following the case, Mike seemed confused about how a seemingly innocent and unarmed teenager can be killed by a adult male.

Have you been following this Trayvon Martin situation?

Yeah, it’s just really bad stuff that happened. We’re still working on these laws in this country. We have some real bad laws.

When you say laws, are you talking about the Stand Your Ground law?

That stuff and it’s just ridiculous. Look, I don’t know what happened, but from looking at the film of the people and the personality of the two individuals — that boy didn’t have a chance in hell against this guy, George, physically, let alone with a gun. [Trayvon] didn’t come across as some tough guy. What, he sprayed graffiti on the wall of the school? Wow, we should throw him in jail for life. Matter of fact, we should give him the electric chair.

Yes, Mike Tyson was blunt, but his insightfulness was always underrated.
