Miss USA 2011 Alyssa Campanella Likes Lollipops And Ballers (PHOTOS)

Alyssa Campanella is the new Miss USA 2011.

America's newest beauty queen was crowned last night at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The 21-year-old beauty queen from California received the crown from GlobalGrind's own beauty queen Rima Fakih Miss USA 2010. 

Miss USA2011 Alyssa Campanella pranced her cakes on stage and ironically, she wants to meet a Cake Boss. When asked which celebrity she'd love to meet, Alyssa said, "I love to bake cakes, and he's an Italian, and he acts like I do in the kitchen."

Beating out 50 other girls for the crown is an amazing accomplishment and we look forward to seeing how she handles her reign as America's top queen. After the pageant, she kicked it with fellow beauty queens like Rima, as well as pop culture giants like Lil Jon, NBA champion Tyson Chandler and more.

In case you're wondering how this beauty pageant vet ended up as Miss USA, blame her mother, Campanella revealed, "I was going through a tough time in high school and she thought it'd be a great way for me to meet other girls throughout the state," she said. "It's Mom's fault."
