Following in the tradition of Jack in the Box's legendary Bacon Milkshake and Denny's own Maple Bacon Sundae, Burger King will be releasing their very own salty and sweet dessert. Starting this summer, BK will be selling a bacon sundae.

The treat will feature a strip of bacon and bacon crumbles atop a fudge and caramel sundae. As for the nutrition value of the dessert — there isn't any. The sundae features 510 calories, eight grams of fat and 61 grams of sugar.

Twenty years ago we would have saw this sundae and fainted. However, in 2012, after years of watching fast food joints release their own monstrosities — and after watching Paula Deen get famous by cooking up eatable diabetes — we have become numb to dishes like this.
