Yesterday Nas released his latest song “Daughters” off the upcoming album Life Is Good. While many hip-hop heads thought the song was a hit and reminded many of Illmatic Nas, one person didn’t think the song was that dope.

STORY: Nas Reveals Life Is Good Release Date

The emcee from Queensbridge got a rude review from his baby mother Carmen, who took to Twitter to blast the song and added that Nas should spend more time with his daughter.

Just heard “Daughters” by Nas. What a disappointment! He had nothing positive to say about our daughter and his depiction of her is false!

…perhaps her father should be talking to her and spending more time with her so he can really get to know her.

…Destiny will be 18 in 2 months. Over it!

And when her followers asked what exactly the problem was with the song, she answered:

Ques? do u really think Destiny appreciated that song? Seriously…..Destiny is still a child-it was the wrong platform.

…he’s not speaking on it-he’s rapping about it. There’s a huge difference and I don’t respect it.

Destiny is extremely talented, caring and has a huge heart, none of those things were mentioned. I’m proud of her.

On the track, Nas tackles the rumors that his daughter was out of control, a claim that surfaced after risky pictures of the teen popped up on a few gossip blogs, one of which showed Nas’ 17-year-old daughter Destiny posing in front of a nightstand with condoms on it.

The “Black Girl Lost” rapper also addresses his daughter’s boyfriend who was in jail, and his own player hardcore ways in the song, saying, “the coolest playas and foulest heart breakers in the world, God gets us back, he makes us have precious little girls.”

Take a listen to the song, and let us know if you think Escobar was out of line.
