How ironic is it that Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochcinco got divorced during the first ever National Singles Week?! 

DETAILS: Chad and Ocho Are Officially Divorced! 

Back in 2011, the US Census bureau found out that 44 percent of Americans are single. The stats go as followed:

The Bureau’s thorough number crunching revealed that for every 89 available men in the nation, there were 100 women, and that “55 million households maintained by unmarried men” making up “about 46% of households nationwide." 

So it's not all bad news for Ev and Ocho, they now have a whole week to celebrate their singleness. Matter of fact, America is so single that we've even been dubbed the hook-up nation. But hey, who can blame us?
