This must be the best week ever for Nicki Minaj.
Not only did her album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded hit stores, but she also got to do one of her biggest performances ever in her hometown of New York City.

The Young Money queen teamed up with Nokia and literally shut down Times Square, it was so packed it looked like New Year’s Eve out there.

Tens of thousands of screaming fans lined the streets to bring a standstill to the center of the world as Nokia debuted its new Nokia Lumia 900.
Nicki spoke about the experience.
“When Nokia came to me with the idea to make a building come alive and to perform in Times Square in front of my fans to celebrate the launch of the Nokia Lumia 900 there was only ever one answer. To see the idea on paper was amazing but to see it for real blew me away. It brought Times Square to a standstill.”
The whole experience was epic and you could feel the energy in the air.
“Performing in my hometown of NYC the same week as the release of my new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is amazing and it really is a dream come true,” Nicki continued.
Nokia also remixed Nicki’s Starships song and shot the video, for their remix last night that everyone in attendance got to take part in adding to the ultimate fan experience. Last night was truly epic. Check out the pictures of history in the making.
