It's Monday, so it's back to the work week and that includes another edition of No Money Mondays. While you're still trying to wake up, check out some of the cool things you can do in New Orleans that are free of charge. New Orleans is unlike any other city and there are so many fun things to do that aren't Mardi Gras related!
Visit the Jean Lafitte National Park Barataria Preserve:
This park allows visitors to do a free self-guided tour through the New Orleans swamp! There are 20,000 acres of bayous, swamps, marshes, and forest. The boardwalks and trails are free to enter and if vistors have a car, they can drive through the swamp as well. Visitors can see wildlife such as alligators, snakes, ducks, frogs, and lizards. Make sure to bring bug spray to fight off the mosquitoes and an umbrella for an unexpected rainstorm.
