No Money Mondays - Things To Do In Prague For No Money At All

Posted December 24, 2012 by Jason Brooks for Global Grind Staff

It's Monday again!

Many of you may have today off for the holiday week but you sill may need a little "me" time to wind down from all of your holiday shopping. If by any chance you happen to be in the Prague region of the Czech Republic or plan on visiting, this installment of Dollars & Sense is just for you. The best part of it all is that everything is free of charge. Check it  out below!

Visit The Wallenstein Gardens

These glorious 17th century formal gardens, tucked behind the Wallenstein Palace (now the home of the Czech Senate), should be sought for a little haven of calm away from the crowded streets of Mala Strana.

Designed by a Milanese architect, they are most noted for their bronze statues of Greek gods.

Some of the baroque rooms in the adjacent palace can also be seen at weekends.
