Chad Ochocinco says he's changing his name back to Chad Johnson. The thing is… the brother seems in a little bit of a hurry to get the job done. Could Chad be running from the law?!
When Ochocinco appeared on "NFL Live" this past Tuesday, he explained that the name alteration was just for fun and now it's time for a change.
"I don't have a choice right now… I've done enough with the Ocho thing," he explained Ocho to ESPN's Trey Wingo.
You don't have a choice? Apparently he doesn't. Ocho hasn't been shy of plastering all over Twitter that there's a warrant out for his arrest, and that changing it back to his original name will spare him jail time. That's some ThugNasty ish right there!
Ocho retweeted a fellow follower in response:
I've a warrant for my arrest n Miami, b back after name change 2 avoid arrest RT @DADEFAMiLiA: What it do bruh when you getting back to Mia
What's crazier is that it might not really be the same kind of jail we're all presumably thinking about. Ochocino insinuated to another fan that the real warrant he's referring to is a little thing we call marriage. In reply to Lacey25 asking if by warrant was he referring to marriage, he said:
So is Ochocinco playing outlaw and really tying the knot with foxy vixen Evelyn Lozada, or is he actually living a thug life?
We at least have a deadline for change to look forward to. The wide receiver superstar retweeted yet another fan yesterday morning, claiming his original name is to be recollected by the 4th of July:
And what more appropriate timing than America's Independence Day… Barbecue, fireworks and escaping a warrant. Good ol' U S of A.
