Olivia Wilde was spotted in the middle of a deep texting conversation while out and about in West Hollywood yesterday.
Could she have been reading the responses to her tweet defending rape victims and their right to choose? The House actress tweeted:
"#Santorum says no abortion for rape victims; just accept your fate (!!?). I'm so over women-hating politicians."
This was in response to Presidential candidate Rick Santorum, who opposes abortions - even in the case of rape - saying rape victims should "make the best out of a bad situation."
The presidential hopeful goes on to say, "If she kills her child, that that, too, could ruin her life. And this is not an easy choice, I understand that. As horrible as the way that that son or daughter and son was created, it still is her child. And whether she has that child or she doesn't, it will always be her child, and she will always know that"
Olivia has never been shy over voicing her political opinion, and this time is no different.
We appreciate a celebrity using their voice to speak about an important issue. Do your thing Olivia!
