Having 10 baby mama’s like Shawty Lo might sound pretty entertaining to some, but it also might be too much for television.

The new Oxygen special featuring Shawty Lo, his 11 children and their 10 mothers, called All My Babies’ Mamas, ticked off a lot of people who ensured they won’t be tuning into what is likely to be some rachet tv and the network has recieved some heavy backlash.

While there have been petitions against airing the show because they believe it “demeans black men, women, and children”, the network is standing by their decision to show the one-hour special.

They said in an exclusive statement to Radar Online:

“Oxygen’s one-hour special in development is not meant to be a stereotypical representation of everyday life for any one demographic or cross section of society. It is a look at one unique family and their complicated, intertwined life. Oxygen Media’s diverse team of creative executives will continue developing the show with this point of view.”

Fortunately for protestors, the show is still in development, so it’s hard to tell what will happen when it comes time for its air date.

Will you guys be looking forward to Shawty Lo and all his baby mamas hitting your TV screen?
