Khloe Kardashian rushed to the hospital to be by husband Lamar Odom's side as he tends to his father.

Reports claim that Lamar Odom’s troubled father Joe Odom is “gravely ill.”

DETAILS: Khloe Kardashian Rushed To The Hospital

“Lamar’s dad is gravely ill, and he wanted time off to be with him,” a source close to Khloe Karadashian’s husband said about the situation.

“Khloe and Lamar were really upset about the news about Joe,” the source said about the couple. “They’re putting their schedules on hold right now to be there for him.”

Joe Odom struggled with an addiction to heroin in the past, while Khloe has helped Lamar foster a relationship with his father. No specifics about what he is suffering from have been released, but it's been said, “It’s a really serious medical condition.”

Lamar took a leave a absence from his team and Mavs coach Rick Carlisle issued a statement:

“He has been excused to tend to a family matter. He will rejoin us after the [All-Star] break."

A source said, “The team is all pulling for Lamar’s dad and hope that he gets better. Their thoughts and prayers are with he and Khloe at this time.”

Other media reports claimed Khloe was rushed to the hospital for a "gynecological condition." Turns out, she was just being a loving wife to her husband while he deals with his father's illness. 

It's good to see that Lamar has Khloe by his side to help him through this.
