We would like to wish Reverend Run a huge happy birthday! Rev, proud father and husband of a very happy family, turns 48 years old today.

Born Joseph Simmons, Rev is best known as a member of Run DMC- one of the most influential groups within the hip-hop culture to date.

More recently, Rev is also known for his inspirational words.
