Red hot Rihanna may be at the center of a few tattoo controversies, but you wouldn’t know it based on her laid back demeanor. RiRi was spotted leaving her favorite restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, CA, playing with prints and sporting a new piece of jewelry.

Yep, aside from a new tattoo dedicated to her grandmother, the “Birthday Cake” songstress also got a brand new grill! With new gold teeth in her mouth, Rihanna left dinner and subsequently faced a sea of questions about Chris Brown‘s tattoo.
Her ex-boyfriend came under fire this week when people thought he inked Rihanna’s face on his neck – but it turned out to be a big misunderstanding. According to his reps, the female likeness is NOT Rihanna; Breezy actually got inked with a Mexican Day of the Dead “sugar skull.”
Needless to say, that didn’t stop Chris’ protective mother from hopping on Twitter to voice her own opinion.

As far as the ex-couple’s relationship, Rihanna recently admitted to Oprah that she’s still in love with Chris Brown. So much so, that a quote on Instagram caught her attention and deserved a like.
The quote read:
If two past lovers can remain friends its either they’re still in love or never were.
Seems like someone is trying to tell us something with tattoos and subliminal messages…
