Rita landed a role next to Vin Diesel and The Rock. That's right, Roc Nation's newest pop diva has replaced Rihanna in the Fast and Furious 6.

The Sun reports:

A source said: “Rihanna impressed movie bosses with her role in Battleship. But schedules didn’t work out and Rita really shone during castings. They loved her look and her attitude.”

Early reports stated that this role was Rihanna's, looks like it's going to Rita now. This will surely fuel the Rita/RiRi comparisons even further.

This will be Rita's acting debut, so we can't wait to see how see how she measures up!
