Our girl Rocsi Diaz is making major moves out on the West Coast. Wednesday night, the Entertainment Tonight correspondent teamed up with a few of her famous friends to bring some positivity to the holiday season.
Rocsi partnered her ‘Rocstar Rebuilds’ charity with ‘Girls with Gifts’ to launch the 1st Annual Rocstar Rebuilds Holiday Toy Drive, which took place at Xen Lounge in North Hollywood.
Hundreds of toys were donated for the victims of Hurricane Sandy, while Terrence J, Adrienne Bailon, Julissa Bermudez, Floyd Mayweather, Amber Riley, Tristan Wilds, Terrell Owens, and Stephen Hill stopped by to show some love.
Rocsi thanked everyone for helping out, saying:
“Words cannot express how overwhelmed and proud I am of last night’s Rocstar Rebuilds 1st Annual Toy Drive to benefit Hurricane Sandy Victims in conjunction with Girls with Gifts, FlipFlop Events and YES Productions as well as Xen Lounge. The outcome was phenomenal. I knew people would donate toys but when I saw kind hearts arriving with not just 1 toy, but multiple bags, I held back tears to the generosity. I know what it’s like to lose everything in a disaster, I saw my mother struggle to keep our spirits up when we lost it all and I’m glad that everyone involved last night will help out many families this Christmas and keep their spirits up. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”
