Even celebs can’t get away from parking violations!
Russell Brand and new girlfriend, Mexican artist Oriela Medellin Amieiro, were spotted in West Hollywood, California recently. The couple looked blissful while walking back to Brand’s black Range Rover – only to find out he had been given a hefty ticket for parking on a red line fire zone!
Brand, who is going through a high profile divorce from pop singer Katy Perry, did not look too happy about the violation.
Coughing up the cash to pay for the ticket, along with the legal fees associated with the divorce, can be a burden. After all, Brand is forgoing the chance to sue Katy for half of her fortune.
While Russell was cavorting about town with his new girl on his arm, Katy was making the rounds at the Oscar after parties and glamming up her new blue coif at Elton John’s Academy Awards auction/viewing party.
