Uncle Rush did it again! Our boss has been in the beautiful city of Hong Kong for the past week doing amazing things! He travelled to foreign soil to raise money for the Diamond Empowerment Fund (DEF), his non-profit organization which is dedicated to supporting the empowerment of African youth.

The main event he is there for, Diamonds in the Sky: Hong Kong was centered around a benefit dinner and auction that supported The Diamond Empowerment Fund and The China Charity Federation. After the huge successes of DEF London last fall, becoming involved with Diamonds in the Sky: Hong Kong was an incredible opportunity. With the full support from the Diamond Trading Company (DTC) and Chow Tai Fook (CTF), DEF was honored to be a beneficiary of the event.
Diamonds in the Sky came to an amazing end last night as Uncle Rush surpassed his goal of $1M. The event raised a total of $2.2M with $1.1M going to African education via DEF and $1.1M going to the event’s other beneficiary, Chinese education via The China Charity Federation.
We’re so excited to see men and women donating their money for such a positive cause!
